What a plan buys is the size of app you can build — that is the ceiling in the table below, and it is the reason to move up a tier. Credits are the separate thing a build spends as it runs. Every plan, including Free, hands you the source code.
How much does it cost to build an app?
A build costs a minimum of 1 credit, and more as the app gets larger: the quote scales with the size of the design, so a single-concept app is near the floor and a large one is not. Credits bought outright are $3.00 each, so the smallest possible build is $3 if you are buying credits for it, and nothing beyond your monthly fee if your plan's allowance covers it.
Plans
| Plan | Price | Largest app you can build | Credits included each month | Planning turns per week |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 3 credits | None | 3 |
| Starter | $29/month | 8 credits | 10 credits | 10 |
| Studio | $99/month | 30 credits | 30 credits | 30 |
| Pro | $299/month | 100 credits | 80 credits | 100 |
| Unlimited | From $799/month | No limit | 200 credits | No limit |
Free, Starter, Studio and Pro are self-serve — you can start or change them yourself. Unlimited starts at $799 and is arranged by email: admin@conceptual-ai.app.
What is a credit?
A credit is the unit a build spends, scaled to how much app you asked for. The "largest app" column is a ceiling, not an allowance: if a build would cost more credits than your plan's ceiling, it is refused and you are told which plan would fit it. Buying extra credits does not lift that ceiling — raising it is what a plan is for.
Do credits expire?
The two kinds behave differently, and they are tracked separately:
- Credits included with a plan reset each billing period. They do not roll over — the allowance for a period expires with that period. Builds spend the plan allowance first.
- Credits you buy outright at $3.00 each last 12 months from your most recent payment. Any payment — another credit purchase or a subscription renewal — pushes that window out again, so an active customer does not lose them. They are separate from a plan allowance and survive changing or cancelling a plan.
Does a plan renew automatically?
Yes. A plan renews automatically: your card is charged the same amount on the same day each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then; we do not charge again after that. Partial-period refunds are not provided. The full terms are in the Billing & Refund Policy.
When am I charged?
Credits are charged once, when you approve the plan and its quote — before the build starts. Approving the same plan again does not charge a second time. Credits are not returned, and a build you cancel or abandon after approving it is charged; the Billing & Refund Policy is the full and binding version of this.
Do I own what gets built?
Yes, on every plan. Each build produces two repositories: a Deno backend carrying the generated test suite, the OpenAPI spec and a Dockerfile, and a React frontend built against that same spec. You can export both to GitHub, and the backend runs anywhere a container runs. There is no proprietary runtime to keep paying for and no SDK sitting between you and your own backend.
